 rife in seven days. From the rustic Anaga peninsula in the north\, they we
 nt through enchanted forests to the west coast near La Orotava. From there
 \, they followed Alexander von Humboldt's footsteps through the volcanic l
 andscape of the Caldera de las Cañadas and climbed the Pico del Teide\, S
 pain's highest mountain at 3\,715 m\, as the highlight. After the descent\
 , they finished the hike on the southwest coast.\n\nThe four will report o
