 ian Peninsula (today's Teke) through the Taurus Mountains. Currently\, the
  total length of the trail is about 540 km. The locals in ancient times ch
 ristened their region Lycia - the land of light. Those who trek here under
 stand why this region was so named. There is incredible diversity here: ar
 chaic ruins\, the most scenic hiking trails in the world and steep mountai
 ns\, authentic customs\, the hospitality of the locals\, wild beaches for 
 swimming\, fruit straight from the trees and now Russians in exile.\n\nAn
