DESCRIPTION:Cultural exchange despite the war - two trips to Galicia in 202
 4\n\nThe first encounters and exhibitions with artists and photographers f
 rom Ivano-Frankivsk took place 11 years ago in Dresden under the umbrella 
 of the Kultur Aktiv association. Since then\, we have been able to organiz
 e numerous projects together. In order to keep this relationship alive eve
 n in times of war in Ukraine\, the nEUROPA gallery team organized three ex
 hibitions in Dresden\, Ivano-Frankivsk and Verkhovyna together with the Ko
 lumb photo club in 2024. In his lecture\, Jan Oelker will talk about these
  exhibitions and report on the two trips to Galicia\, where the front is f
 ar away but the war is omnipresent. This makes support\, relationships\, e
 xchanges and personal encounters all the more important in order to preser
 ve a bit of normality.
