Then apply until 10 December 2019!<\/p>\n<p>Homeland, environmental protection, freedom of opinion or the future of our democracy &#8211; these are topics that move many of us. About which we argue a lot, sometimes very loudly. Often we simply remain speechless. <a href=\"https:\/\/demoslam.org\/\">demoSlam<\/a> provides young people with the tools to communicate about important and major social issues.<\/p>\n<p>Do you want to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Discuss difficult social issues in an informal dialogue format?<\/li>\n<li>Would you like to exchange ideas on conflict-ridden topics in an open and carefree manner?<\/li>\n<li>Learn how to present your points of view in the best possible way, vividly and accessible to others?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Then demoSlam will give you the opportunity to engage with other participants in a <strong>three-day communication workshop<\/strong> on current social issues. Describe your experience.<\/li>\n<li>From your point of view, which topics move the people in Saxony and at your place the most?<\/li>\n<li>What is your personal strategy for dealing with social issues?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/kulturaktiv.org\/saxony-in-dialogue-project-guidelines\/\"><strong>project guidelines<\/strong><\/a> must be adhered to by all participants when selecting applicants, when working together in workshops and demo slams. In 2018 the demoSlam premieres took place in Dresden and Ekaterinburg, since then there have been several follow-up events and communication workshops.
