If, like me, you want to go abroad for a year after school, Australia or America is really nothing special anymore and work&amp;travel\u2026. phew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&#8220;You only meet Germans on the road anyway.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, not many people have heard of the European Voluntary Service &#8211; and the framework that goes with it doesn&#8217;t make it unattractive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But in order not to swim in the mainstream, I did my EVS in Armenia.
