Watercolour Painting Workshop – “Loose Watercolor Flora”
Discover the fascinating world of watercolour painting with our illustrator Mahsa! In this workshop, you will learn the special technique of ‘loose watercolour’, which involves capturing the essence of a motif with a few loose brushstrokes.
Experience how water and pigments flow and move on the paper, creating unique effects. There is no ‘back’ button here – let yourself be guided by spontaneity and enjoy the creative process. It’s not about perfection or photorealistic representations, but about the BIG PICTURE.
This workshop is a meditative experience that is suitable for everyone – whether you are a beginner or a professional. Let your creativity run wild and, above all, have fun!

Mahsa was born in Tehran in 1992 and has been living and working in Dresden for many years. As an artist and illustrator, she loves to try out different types of painting – whatever takes her fancy. She is currently particularly enthusiastic about loose watercolour and lettering.
The project is funded by the State Ministry for Social Affairs and Social Cohesion. This measure is co-financed with tax revenue based on the budget approved by the Saxon State Parliament as part of the funding programme »Wir für Sachsen«.
