Simona – European Volunteer from Macedonia

I’m Simona, I’m from Macedonia. I started my first voluntary work in Solem in 2015. My work experience so far has taught me many new things that I didn’t know before. I got to know many new people and gained a lot of experience in my work.

With my positive experiences so far I have decided for a new challenge in life, I have decided for Dresden because it is one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. I love Germany, I like the culture and the way of life.

Now I am part of Kultur Aktiv and I am happy to be part of this wonderful team.

My biggest surprise is that the infrastructure of the city is so well done that blind people walk alone on the streets.
