Quite a few funding programmes are behind the project Saxony in Dialogue. We are pleased about the final assurance of the programme MITEINANDER REDEN.

This federal political programme has been initiated and is financed by the Federal Agency for Civic Education. It takes place with the support of the Arbeitskreis deutscher Bildungsstätten (AdB), the Deutscher Städte- und Gemeindebund (DStGb), the Deutsche Vernetzungsstelle Ländliche Räume (DVS) and the Deutscher Volkshochschulverband and is implemented by the education agency labconcepts as programme office.

Programme objectives

It is often a long way from the initiative to the implementation of a project. Successful project development encompasses more than just an innovative good idea that creates long-term added value for society, thinks along with sustainable structures and empowers the individual to communicate and participate. Thinking through and planning a political education project from start to finish requires organisational talent, flexibility, communication and project management skills as well as a respectful culture of dialogue at eye level.

In rural regions in particular, structural and demographic upheavals present people with major challenges and special responsibilities. The competition for ideas and the further education programme MITEINANDER REDEN Gespräche gestalten – Gemeinsam handeln aims at the strength of the self-responsible action of local actors in the development and implementation of their projects on topics from politics, education, the media, culture or society.

By accompanying and supporting 100 MITEINANDER REDEN projects nationwide, the initiators and supporters of the programme also want to learn from and with the talents and ideas of the local actors for the further development of their political (educational) offers.
