Last summer I was in India for a month. Before my trip I had many fears. When you think of India, there are many words like poverty, rape, filth, disease…
But we must not forget that India is a huge country, much bigger than all of Europe put together. It is a fact that India has many shells. But don’t forget the lights and I would like to give a talk about that.
Personally I only know North India. Some cities I have visited are New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur (very typical), Hymalaya, Vanarasi, Pushkar…
Every city was colorful, the people live there differently. The food tastes incredibly good, the weather is really hot (always around 30 degrees at night). In summer the monsoon can surprise you…
When I was there, I did a voluntary work and afterwards I travelled alone for 10 days. Sometimes you can’t know exactly if people want to help you or just have any interests in you. But I had a very nice experience there.
You can’t describe India, you have to experience it yourself.
