Rajasthan

Rajasthan is a land of desert in the northwest of India. A land of opulent maharaja palaces and huge forts, in an arid landscape bordering Pakistan. But it is also a region where the contradictions and conflicts that preoccupy the whole of India can be observed. A country with deep-rooted traditions that looks just as longingly to the future. We travelled through the country for three weeks and tried to experience these sides of the country a little more deeply.
