Open Gallery :: In our gallery Galerie nEUROPA we not only present exhibitions of contemporary photographers with a connection to Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, but the space is also open for open meetings, coffee rounds, games evenings, workshops, seminars, think tanks, and so on.
For three and a half years, Kultur Aktiv’s nEUROPA gallery has been home to a small sewing café. It is not only a place where fabrics are sewn together, but above all where new connections are forged – for people from Ukraine and beyond. Here, emotional wounds are ‘stitched up’ and patches are applied to the soul.
We always offer human warmth, space for sharing joys and sorrows, and, of course, the opportunity to get creative with your own hands.
On 23 February, we cordially invite you to an encounter with Ukrainian embroidery art at the Montagsacafé in the Kleines Haus. We look forward to seeing you from 16:00 to 19:00.
Ukrainian Monday Café
There has been war in Ukraine for almost four years – with so much suffering and misfortune, but also with global upheaval, new friendships and new life in Dresden.
That’s why the Monday Café invites everyone to come to the Kleines Haus on 23 February to exchange ideas, share stories and spend time together. There will be food, drinks and music. You are also welcome to bring something with you or show and demonstrate something to us. We look forward to seeing you!
