We are delighted to be back at this year’s Malteser Hilfsdienst summer festival at the Prohlis meeting point! In addition to music and snacks, there will be lots of hands-on activities for young and old! The Treffpunkt Prohlis is a meeting point for people of all cultures in the district and enables people to meet and get to know each other – at regular events, e.g. women’s, senior citizens’ and family get-togethers, neighbourhood café, German table, help from the authorities and much more.

Everyone knows idioms and proverbs, regardless of their origin. These short phrases are a cultural asset that has often been passed down through many generations. They show how many things different cultures have in common and can teach us a lot about the lives of others.

What connects us more than shared experiences, for example at a street festival, in the neighbourhood café or in the cultural club around the corner?

We cordially invite you to take a seat at our table and take part in the “mosaic of languages”. Put these small word pictures together to form a large mosaic. The word pictures can be written or illustrated.
