At the upcoming weekend bands and musicians from Ústí are introducing themselves at the Canalettomarket in Pirna to present their home land and regional songs. There’s something for everyone – from a children’s choir, via rock and beat music through to traditional folkloric sounds.
„Our idea is to connect Czechs and Germans in their common fascination for Christmas traditions”, Marcus Oertel, manager of Kultur Aktiv, says. “Together with our partners of Collegium Bohemicum from Ústí and Zastrow+Zastrow who run the market, we decided that the Canalettomarket would be the perfect location for that.”
