Family festival “Neustädter Frühling”

A long spring weekend is just around the corner! Two Kultur Aktiv projects are moving outside to the main street for the Neustädter Frühling family festival. At the “Vereinsmeile” on Jorge-Gomondai-Platz, you can get a taste of our Sewing Café and Dresdner Nachbarschaften and let your creativity run wild:

Patchwork by and with Ukrainian women
Since last autumn, a group of women has been meeting every Wednesday for a Sewing café at the nEUROPA gallery to work with their hands and engage in conversation.

Upcycling for good neighbourliness
The project series Dresdner Nachbarschaften continues! This year we ask ourselves: Does everything in the neighbourhood always have to stay the way it is? Is it possible to do things differently? At the workshop you can create small houses out of old packaging and exchange ideas about good neighbourliness.
