Janov – Děčín – Dresden // To mark the closure of the ČSA opencast lignite mine, the clown Atlas will tour northern Bohemia and Saxony.
Clown Atlas is coming to you with his Styrofoam office! He loves talking to people and other living beings. He is friends with pigeons, trees, and lichens. He will teach you to face what weighs you down. Even gravity!
Atlas brings stories, emotions, and experiences he has gathered on his journey through northern Bohemia. He drove through a region full of brown coal pits and talked to the locals about a meaningful and just transformation of this area. Come along, have fun, and share your stories! Let’s ask ourselves together: How can we meaningfully change this overloaded world?
Visit Atlas during his pop-up exhibition at Neustädter Markt. You are also cordially invited to his playful Gravity Strike workshops, which will take place in this context. You can also take part in a discussion about the entire eco-activist tour project, which will take place at the nEUROPA gallery.
