Bag Embroidery – Creative Embroidery Art

Open Gallery :: In our gallery Galerie nEUROPA we not only present exhibitions of contemporary photographers with a connection to Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, but the space is also open for open meetings, coffee rounds, games evenings, workshops, seminars, think tanks, and so on.

We warmly invite you to get creative with us!

Together with artists Bela Álvarez and Yulia Vishnichenko, we’ll explore the fascinating combination of bags and embroidery. In our workshop, you’ll create small works of art that you can take home or design as a surprise for your loved ones.

Under guidance, you’ll embroider patterns, ornaments, and delicate details onto fabric, making each piece one-of-a-kind. Whether floral accents, abstract lines, or festive symbols—here you can let your creativity run wild and tell your own stories with needle and thread.

The workshop is open to anyone who enjoys creative design. No prior experience is required. Materials are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own fabrics. For participants ages 12 and up (younger children must be accompanied by an adult).

The project is funded by the State Ministry for Social Affairs and Social Cohesion. This measure is co-financed with tax revenue based on the budget approved by the Saxon State Parliament as part of the  »Wir für Sachsen«  funding programme.
