“Dresden spricht…” Workshops, guided tours, writing and printing workshops under the motto “Language and writing. Dresden speaks many languages”
Exhibition until the end of the year!
If you can’t make it to the vernissage, you still have the opportunity to visit the exhibition until the end of the year: during opening hours (Monday to Friday, 10 am to 2 pm) as well as during all events in the JKS Passage and by prior arrangement. Admission is free of charge.
Mosaic of languages
There’s a lot to see. Proverbs from all over the world form a colourful mosaic of languages, posters from our screen printing workshops get to the heart of the matter and portraits of our encounters invite you to listen.
Printed items to take away
And as not everyone was able to attend all the events, our comprehensive brochure is available in the exhibition room. Grab a copy and take it with you! ‘Those who write, stay!’ was our motto. And so we have written down our encounters with people from all over the world. But there are also stories about the little oases of togetherness and the discoveries we made in Gorbitz, Prohlis, Mickten, Johannstadt and many other places. Some of you are sure to find yourself and your story in this magazine.
JKS Passage – more than just a partner and host
The JKS Passage location in the leafy Gorbitz district is undergoing a comprehensive process of change. The well-known space with its long tradition as an event venue is currently being expanded with new forms of interaction and is set to become a lively cultural and neighbourhood centre in the heart of the district. The Passage currently has a multifunctional hall with a stage and a wide range of event technology, a foyer with space for a café and an attractive outdoor area, which is used more in the warmer months – not least to make the neighbouring Amalie-Dietrich-Platz a peaceful, lively place.
