Photostitching – Creative art on pictures

Open Gallery :: In our gallery Galerie nEUROPA we not only present exhibitions of contemporary photographers with a connection to Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, but the space is also open for open meetings, coffee rounds, games evenings, workshops, seminars, think tanks, and so on.

Easter is just around the corner, and we invite you to join us in celebrating this special occasion creatively!

Together with artists Bela Álvarez and Yulia Vishnichenko, we will discover the fascinating connection between photography and embroidery. In our workshop, you will create small works of art that you can take home or give as Easter surprises to your loved ones.

Under expert guidance, you will embroider stitch patterns, ornaments and fine details onto photographs, making each piece unique. Whether floral accents, abstract lines or Easter symbols – here you can give free rein to your creativity and tell your own stories with needle and thread.

The workshop is aimed at anyone who enjoys creative design. No previous experience is necessary. Materials are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own photographs.

The project is funded by the State Ministry for Social Affairs and Social Cohesion. This measure is co-financed with tax revenue based on the budget approved by the Saxon State Parliament as part of the  »Wir für Sachsen«  funding programme.
