Henrike Terheyden has been working as a draftswoman and illustrator in Dresden under the name KENDIKE since 2011.
As a cultural scientist, what fascinates her most about the medium of drawing is the possibility of instantly bringing together complex content and thought processes and making them accessible. Whether in a scientific context with the development of symbols and images for ideas, or as a visualization of directorial concepts in the field of storyboards, or simply on a postcard that conveys a feeling – the medium of drawing is direct, yet multi-layered and powerful. Henrike works both analog and digital for print and online media, scientific publications, companies or in her own projects.
