For 11 weeks, we discovered faraway places together, listened to personal stories and filled the cold season with exciting travelogues. Our winter travel lecture series has now come to an end – and we say thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
A big thank you goes to the artderkultur e.V. association, which once again provided us with a cosy venue in the Veränderbar. Thanks to all the speakers who took us on their travels and shared their experiences with us – entertaining, informative, moving and inspiring.
A special highlight this year was the presentation on Iceland, which was accompanied by music from the Zentralwerk choir, creating an atmospheric evening that will live long in the memory. The response was fantastic: at times, the Veränderbar was filled to capacity with up to 54 visitors – a clear sign of the great interest in encounters, images and stories from all over the world. There was a lot of laughter, listening, enquiring and perhaps the desire for the next trip was awakened in one or the other.
A big thank you also goes to Christian, who organised the series with great commitment and accompanied it together with our federal volunteer Johanna.
We are already looking forward to new stories, new journeys and seeing you again next year!
