All speakers associate their own stories and experiences with their languages, whether they grew up in Dresden or moved here. Eleven people tell us about this and have each written down a proverb in their mother tongue.

Reports and reflections on the numerous workshops, city walks and encounters complement the portraits. We have learned a lot about linguistic diversity in Dresden.
