Dresden spricht… viele Sprachen

The diversity of languages in Dresden is amazing!

All speakers associate their own stories and experiences with their languages, whether they grew up in Dresden or moved here. Thirteen people tell us about this and have each written down a proverb in their mother tongue.

Reports and reflections on the numerous workshops, city walks and encounters complement the portraits. We have learned a lot about linguistic diversity in Dresden.

Everyone who speaks a language associates it with their own unique stories and experiences, whether they grew up in Dresden or have moved there. Eleven people share these stories and have each written down a proverb for us in their mother tongue.
