Market café in Gorbitz

Treffpunkt ostZONE. Remember – this is the motto of the market café, where people talk about life in Gorbitz during the GDR era and today. Together we remember what it was like: living together, shopping, the encounters, also with the newcomers from the brother states, e.g. contract workers from Mozambique. Tell us, do you have certain meeting places, for example, with the old and new neighbors from the former Soviet Union or Syria?

The market café is accompanied by the artist Anja Maria Eisen.

The event takes place in cooperation with Quartiersmanagement Gorbitz and Nachbarschaftshilfeverein e.V.
