Sewing Café meets farm
Over the past few years, our favourite sewing café girls have created lots of great handicrafts. These fabric pictures, cushion covers and sewn fabric bags can be purchased at our Sewing Café stand at this year’s farm festival in Mahlitzsch. We look forward to your visit!
Mahlitzsch farm festival
The farm festival for the whole family starts at 2 pm with Mahlitzsch delicacies, exciting guided tours of the farm, hands-on activities, a straw castle, regional crafts, specialities from the region and a closing concert in the evening. Further information at hof-mahlitzsch.de
Background information
Since autumn 2022, Yuliya Firsova, a teacher from Odesa, has been hosting a sewing café at the nEUROPA gallery. Together with other refugee women who have fled Ukraine, they have created a place where they can unwind, talk, sing, share their problems and experience support and warmth.
