Everyone knows idioms and proverbs, regardless of their origin. These short phrases are a cultural asset that has often been passed down through many generations. They show how many things different cultures have in common and can teach us a lot about the lives of others.
What connects us more than shared experiences, for example at a street festival, in the neighbourhood café or in the cultural club around the corner?
We cordially invite you to take a seat at our table and take part in the “mosaic of languages”. Put these small word pictures together to form a large mosaic. The word pictures can be written or illustrated.
Dresden spricht… at the community festival in Löbtau!
For the third time this year, citizens are celebrating a colourful street festival in the newly designed park above the Weißeritz, Tharandter Straße 1 and in the grounds of the T3 children’s and youth centre. The event is organised by the cultural association Löbtop e.V., various members of the Löbtauer Runde and the intercultural association Willkommen in Löbtau e.V.
Various stations invite you to browse, play, inform and participate. You can get ‘beautified’, snack and enrich yourself with knowledge, as well as find competent advice and help for your own ‘bike’. Away from the road in the T3 grounds, there are various sports, games and craft activities for children. And those who wish can enjoy coffee and cake in the shade of the trees. On the stage, DJ Johann, RoyPlus & Yazzmin and Grober Unfug will be conjuring up a festive atmosphere and the Calisthenics will be putting a big smile on the faces of the audience…
