Nuslätta December 2024 – Fertsch (is the Saxon word for finished): One year Dresden speaks…

Photo: Matthias Schumann

Last Sunday, we celebrated the conclusion of our “Dresden speaks… many languages” project. Together with all those involved in the project, helpers, friends and family, we spent an atmospheric afternoon in the JKS Passage. The party opened with a special highlight: the project participants talked about our journey together in different languages. Afterwards, we played a word puzzle together with the guests and invited them to take a look at the exhibition or talk to others. A buffet with delicacies from different cultures, an exhibition full of impressions and a solidarity bazaar that made creativity and community visible. While the sound of guitars filled the room, the guests took time to talk to each other and exchange ideas about the exhibition.
