Winner of online story competition „Traces of Togetherness“

After a careful judgement the jury is proud to announce the awardee of this years online story competition “Traces of Togetherness” organized by Kultur Aktiv e.V., Dresden/ Germany and financially supported the Foreign Office of Germany (Auswärtiges Amt).

The Jury

 

Ralph Hälbig studied Cultural Studies, Sociology and Theatre Studies in Leipzig. Since 2000 he has been a freelancer at the MDR. He was also involved in several television productions from Georgia and Azerbaijan for MDR, ARTE and SFR. For SWR he produces radio reports on music, culture and everyday life from Georgia. Since 2005 he has been a blogger (georgien.blogspot.com) on topics from Georgia and the South Caucasus.

 

Stefan Günther studied design with a focus on photography. After working for an internationally active photographer, he now worked as a freelance photographer in Berlin. Since 2011 he has built up the image department of the European media NGO n-ost and is active as an author at ostpol.

 

Jan Oelker ended up in photography after studying power plant technology. He has been working as a freelance photojournalist worldwide since 1991. The focus of his work is wind turbines.

 

Within the following days we will release more stories on our website and in January we will release the printed publication TRACES featuring most of the submitted stories.
