DISTRICT WALK with workshop: In the footsteps of the Soviet soldiers
Where did the Russians live, where did the soldiers go after work and where did they have everyday contact with Dresdeners? How were the soldiers and their family members buried and who takes care of their graves today?
The artist Susan Donath traces the lives and deaths of Soviet soldiers in Neustadt. In a small workshop at the Soviet Garrison Cemetery and the North Cemetery with the exhibition “Unverblümt” the heard and seen will be artistically deepened.
The event takes place in cooperation with Erkenntnis durch Erinnerung e.V. / Gedenkstätte Bautzner Straße Dresden.
