Janak Kouzel – The Theatre of Mama Rosa

The life of the Japanese theatre group “Manjushaka” has deeply fascinated the photographer Janak Kouzel during his multiple stays on the island. Not only the mysterious performances, but also their everyday life with the rehearsals aroused in him the interest to photographically record this life in a photo story.

What he captured behind the scenes will be on view at the nEUROPA gallery from 7 December.

Before the vernissage, there will also be the opportunity to experience a performance by the group live in the Galerie Arat at 6 pm.

Janak Kouzel has already been active in several projects of the association.
