Nonsense with solder

Open Gallery :: In our gallery Galerie nEUROPA we not only present exhibitions of contemporary photographers with a connection to Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, but the space is also open for open meetings, coffee rounds, games evenings, workshops, seminars, think tanks, and so on.

The workshop series “Blödsinn mit Lötzinn” (No prior knowledge required) focuses on the creative use of analogue electronics and soldering irons as well as digital formats. In the “HandsOn Sessions”, participants can get started right away with practical, low-threshold projects. The theoretical and technical background is taught in a playful but thorough manner during the work process.

The focus is on cool multimedia sound and light projects. Starting with self-built sound objects and simple electronic musical instruments, we explore the possibilities of various technologies together, so that we can later even implement light, film and robotics projects.

In addition, a wide variety of tools are used to promote the motor and manual skills of the participants. To ensure that the creative aspect is not neglected, design tools such as pens, stencils, spray cans and stickers are used to give the projects the ultimate personal touch.
