Focus on Solidarity – Discussions and creative workshops bring solidarity to everyday life and build new connections between people from very different life situations.
‘Solidarity and Neighbourhood – Living together in large apartment blocks’
What brings us together in our neighbourhood? Where do we meet in our daily lives, where do we need support, and how can we be there for one another?
We warmly invite you to join this open discussion group to talk about neighbourhood life, mutual support and acting in solidarity within the ‘Platte’, those large apartment blocks.
Thought Exchange
Do you sometimes feel that we don’t understand one another well enough? Would you like to listen to others, share your experiences and be heard yourself?
Our ‘Thought Exchange’ brings together people from different generations, backgrounds and life situations. Following a brief introduction – such as a reading, a talk by contemporary witnesses or guests from neighbourhood initiatives – we’ll share our experiences of feeling connected and showing solidarity.
The focus is on your stories and perspectives: What does coming home mean? Where do we find support? And how can we work together to strengthen solidarity in our neighbourhoods and across the whole city? Together, we’ll gather ideas for showing solidarity in our everyday lives.
This event offers an open space for coming together, sharing ideas and forming new connections.
Kommt vorbei, bringt eure Erfahrungen mit und werdet Teil eines Gesprächs über Heimat, Zugehörigkeit und gemeinsames Handeln.
The project is funded by Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden and the State Ministry for Social Affairs and Social Cohesion. This initiative is co-funded by taxpayers’ money on the basis of the budget approved by the Saxon State Parliament as part of the state programme Integrative Maßnahmen.
