“Neighbour’s Day” – exhibition

 Neighbourhoods are everywhere – we are right in the middle of it. With district walks, conversations in the green, creative workshops, exhibitions and much more.

Exhibition at Stadtteilladen Johannstadt

The exhibition, which we are opening together with the Stadtteilverein Johannstadt e.V., gives an insight into countless conversations and shared memories, presents the great people who are curious, who are moved and who make things happen in the neighbourhood!

In addition, the comprehensive Neighbourhoods brochure is available in the exhibition space. Grab a copy and take it with you! You can browse through it and dive into the small oases of togetherness and the discoveries we made last year in Gruna, Löbtau, Gorbitz, Prohlis and Johannstadt. Some of you will certainly find yourself and your story in this booklet.

Neighbour’s Day 2023: Shaping neighbourhoods together

On Friday, 26 May 2023, it’s Neighbours’ Day again! On this day of action, the nebenan.de Foundation calls for a variety of neighbourhood actions throughout Germany – whether it’s a courtyard concert, a planting campaign or a neighbourhood festival.

Under this year’s motto “Shaping Neighbourhoods Together”, neighbours are committed to their immediate living environment and making their neighbourhood a place worth living in. Together, neighbours strengthen social cohesion, get to know each other better and set an example for an open and tolerant neighbourhood.
