We meet people and visit places associated with the freedom movements and the protest against the existing system in the GDR and other countries of the former Eastern Bloc: Anna Maria Mydlarska, Günter Starke, Heidi Bohley, Luiz Mazuze, Jürgen Gottschalk, Lutz Kandler and a visit to a former Jugendwerkhof.
