After Königstein and Nebelschütz, we visited Oschatz on 09 July 2022. Once again, the topic was "Fractures and Bridges of Industrial Culture in Saxony". Oschatz was hit hard by the transformation after the collapse of the GDR economy. Many people emigrated as a result. But there are also new things and people who are helping to shape and develop Oschatz today.

For the second time, cultural activists have set out for the Boskovice Festival. Picturesquely situated in a nature reserve, you wouldn't expect to find a festival in this small town. But this is also due to the good integration of the stages into the town space: punk in the courtyard of a manor house, jazz in the orangery, rock in the summer cinema or a DJ set just below the castle ruins.
The first workshops took place in April and May 2022: Pupils from the FAS Dresden and the Schiller-Gymnasium Pirna dealt with social cohesion in the GDR, went on excursions to historical places and met contemporary witnesses.

After well over two years of painful abstinence from meeting together, but especially traveling together, we are thrilled that the culturally active travel group will finally be on the road together again. For the new start it goes to familiar and beloved realms with goulash, Pivo and rock'n'roll.
Storytelling cafés, district tours and creative workshops combine the themes of neighbourhood and biography and invite people to meet and exchange ideas.
Neighbourhoods are everywhere - we are right in the middle of it. With district walks, conversations in the green, creative workshops, exhibitions and much more.
Much has already been reported about Nebelschütz. A village of the future, a community in a spirit of optimism, eager to experiment and full of ideas - but also with a long history. During our dialogue hike, hikers could experience the past, present and future live in the best spring weather.
Starting at the end of the month, we will be on the road in several neighborhoods - more precisely: DRESDNER NACHBARSCHAFTEN. Conversations in the common gardens, encounter cafés, workshops, district tours and much more will connect the topics of biography and neighborhood.
In April and May 2022, young people will creatively and playfully address the following questions, among others: How is social cohesion created? Where does the boundary of the common begin, where is the freedom of the other restricted? How was this done in the GDR?
