The street newspaper drObs turns 25. For people in difficult circumstances, the non-profit project is an important social anchor in life - a guest article for Dresdner Nachbarschaften

On 02 September, the Dresdner Nachbarschaften went on a discovery tour in Johannstadt. The meeting point for the walk through Johannstadt is at Straßburger Platz. The noise level at the busy intersection is high. Fortunately, Zahra has a small amplifier for her voice. She is a participant in an equal opportunities project run by the Ausländerrat Dresden e.V.

On 05 September, the Dresdner Nachbarschaften were at the "Dresden is(s)t bunt" guest meal.

On 20 August, the Dresdner Nachbarschaften were in Strehlen for the biography workshop. It's all about contact - in the encounter with myself and in the experience with others. Calligraphy meets upcycling book art and after six hours I go home through the rain a different person than the one I came as. More is not possible in the best sense. Again, it's literally hands on and on top of that, ears and hearts open. What happened?

On 02 & 16 July, the Dresden Neighbourhoods were in Löbtau for the biography workshop. "We are all looking for a place where we can imagine a future, where the different threads of our lives connect and new tracks are laid." (Daniel Schreiber)

"Liebliche Aue" - On 01 July Marlis Goethe led a tour through the Dresden neighbourhoods in Löbtau. Professionally, like a city guide, she keeps pictures and documents in transparencies ready to give us an insight into the village of yesteryear. For this we travel back to the 19th century. We start with Gottlob Werner, the geologist who gave Wernerstrasse its name. The geologist Werner, not Rötger Feldmann's leg-holding Werner. And did it work with the catchy tune?

On 4 & 18 June, the Dresdner Nachbarschaften were in Gorbitz for a biography workshop - hands on is the watchword and the story-telling can begin.

On 03 June, the Dresden Neighbourhoods were on a discovery tour in Gorbitz.
"Who lives in Gorbitz? And who is a neighbour?" -- "What do you mean, who is a neighbour? I don't understand the question." -- "We all are. What's the point of the question?"

On 20 May, the screen printing workshop of the Dresden Neighbourhoods was a guest at the cultural evening at the Puzzle family meeting place (Omse e.V.). The visitors can spend time together, play, think and have their say. Whether young or old, known or unknown - contacts are cultivated and new contacts are made here.
