nEUROPA gallery
The nEUROPA Gallery emerged in 2017 from the neue osten Gallery (founded in 2011). As a showcase for the activities of the Kultur Aktiv association, the gallery presents works by contemporary photographers with links to Central and Eastern Europe to the Dresden public. The artists either come from these countries or have been artistically active there. Some of the exhibiting artists are showing their work in Germany for the first time. The focus is on documentary works addressing social, societal or historical themes.
nEUROPA gallery on tour
From time to time, our curators take their exhibitions on tour to other venues. The nEUROPA gallery has already been on tour outside Dresden on several occasions: in Saxony, the Czech Republic and Ukraine. The nEUROPA gallery has been showcased on numerous occasions, whether as a guest at partner organisations and friendly galleries, as an experimental display in old shop windows in public spaces, or as a canvas exhibition at music festivals.
